Cecily Holds the Fort

 

Cecily Holds the Fort is a fictitious book mentioned in the Chalet School books. It was written by the series' main character Jo Bettany. The book was written and accepted for publication over the course of Jo Returns to the Chalet School. In A United Chalet School Jo presents a copy of the book to the school library. It is described as follows:

 

Such an attractive dust-jacket with a picture of a jolly schoolgirl bearing aloft a standard. Beneath this was a bright blue back"
