Cards

 

I've been making cards for as long as I can remember. I started out making them for my family, then began giving them to friends, started to sell them to friends and colleagues, and then submitting them to magazines for publication.

I love all sorts of other arts and crafts, including drawing and painting, making jewellery, and making dollshouse miniatures. In the past few years I've got very involved in scrapbooking, and this has brought a wealth of new techniques and materials to my cardmaking.

My favourite materials are cardstock and patterned paper, and the styles that I find myself returning to time and time again are Japanese style, American country/shaker style, and modern funky designs. But I also love to experiment and challenge myself by using new styles and materials.
