Study

I made this roombox when I was planning how to decorate my real study. The computer is an Apple Classic, with a Stylewriter printer. The mouse mat is cut from grey packing foam. There are copies of MacFormat magazine in a magazine file. The computer chair is made from mount board, felt, wadding, and a length of kebab skewer, and has a Fimo base.

I also made this iMac computer, based on pictures in a magazine, before I had even seen the real thing. It is made of translucent Fimo. I used nylon thread to connect the mouse and keyboard. The mouse mat is cut from translucent plastic.

CDs

These are simply circles cut from holographic card, with a hole punched in the middle using a needle.

Floppy disks

Cut a square of black paper. Stick on a small rectangle of white paper and draw lines on it. Draw on the metal cover using silver pen.

Easel

Cut three lengths of kebab skewer. Cut a small shelf from thin wood, and glue everything in place. Cut a piece of wood as a drawing board, and glue on. Stick on a small watercolour painting using small pieces of masking tape. Make a palette from Fimo. Make pencils from small pieces of cocktail stick.
